Good but no stabilization

J. Woodington, Amazon
9 July 2013
  • Summary: The battery is excellent and lasts for hours. Powering on is almost instant. Playback isn't real intuitive but it works. Image stabilization is non-existent. I've read that it only works in 720p but I literally don't see a difference bewteen having stabilization on or off.

Nice camera

DarkOneX, Amazon
21 June 2013
  • Summary: Got this camera on a great deal for like $150 during the holiday season over a year ago for my oldest daughter. It's a great camera except the battery life on the included battery is really horrible, lasts like 10 minutes.

Great first camera

John in VA, Amazon
7 June 2012
  • Summary: I just bought this camera with the hopes that it would be easy to use and affordable with good picture quality. It meets all the fore-mentioned and more. I really like the size of the camera and had some additional features i didn't know it had.

Very Pleased

xanaxforall, Ebay
7 May 2012
  • Summary: This camera was purchased for my son as an upgrade from his pocket Vado. The camera is great for general video use and has a lot of features for the money. Not the most high-end camera you're going to find but it doesn't cost a fortune either.

good quality compact video camera

B. Wilson, Amazon
9 April 2012
  • Summary: This camera has good battery life, and memory storage. I didn't realize that I did NOT need to buy an SD card, as the camera does have some internal memory for videos. This camera has a great zoom feature, but I did not realize that even while zoomed all the way out, it does not have a very wide...

Good camera with worthless software

David Mccracken, Amazon
5 April 2012
  • Summary: This is a very nice little camcorder but Toshiba includes the wrong software from ArcSoft. I wouldn't expect much from a bundled video editor but, because there is no recording pause function, the only way to skip over some boring stuff is to stop and start a new file after a delay.

Good value for the money!

coonhappy, Ebay
3 April 2012
  • Summary: I purchased this camcorder to replace an older JVC model. This camcorder is a good value for the money-it's a handy size and easy to use. It was ready to go right out of the box. Picture and sound quality are fine, the only issue I had was that at times it didn't seem to focus correctly.

Really good camcorder for your price

Amateur Videographer, Amazon
1 April 2012
  • Summary: I brought this camcorder a month ago after doing some very extensive research on it. I even went to Toshiba's site, and it was cheaper (about $100 less) to buy from here. After reading the reviews, my heart sank a little, most were negative, but I figured that it was really up to me.
