Summary: I just bought this camera with the hopes that it would be easy to use and affordable with good picture quality. It meets all the fore-mentioned and more. I really like the size of the camera and had some additional features i didn't know it had.
Summary: This camera was purchased for my son as an upgrade from his pocket Vado. The camera is great for general video use and has a lot of features for the money. Not the most high-end camera you're going to find but it doesn't cost a fortune either.
Summary: This camera has good battery life, and memory storage. I didn't realize that I did NOT need to buy an SD card, as the camera does have some internal memory for videos. This camera has a great zoom feature, but I did not realize that even while zoomed all the way out, it does not have a very wide angle view up close. I'd say this camera would be great for sporting events, although I have not tried this outside yet.
Summary: This is a very nice little camcorder but Toshiba includes the wrong software from ArcSoft. I wouldn't expect much from a bundled video editor but, because there is no recording pause function, the only way to skip over some boring stuff is to stop and start a new file after a delay. I would expect the bundled editor to let me concatenate these files, even if it did nothing else. This is not too much to ask for.
Summary: I purchased this camcorder to replace an older JVC model. This camcorder is a good value for the money-it's a handy size and easy to use. It was ready to go right out of the box. Picture and sound quality are fine, the only issue I had was that at times it didn't seem to focus correctly. I also like that it will accommodate large memory cards-a feature that my older camcorder didn't have. We were able to record several hours on one card.
Summary: I brought this camcorder a month ago after doing some very extensive research on it. I even went to Toshiba's site, and it was cheaper (about $100 less) to buy from here. After reading the reviews, my heart sank a little, most were negative, but I figured that it was really up to me. It turned out to be a great investment! The HD is extremely clear, even though it's not the best in dark lighting.
Summary: This is a great little full HD camera, my only complaint about it... is the mic. I read a few reviews about this camera before buying it. The mic doesn't do very well in loud environments, and I'm not talking about rock concert status. I was trying to shoot an exhaust clip from my Camaro (which isn't any louder than your average one) and it seemed like it was overloading the mic, or the mic just didn't like the sound frequency of my exhaust note.
A Good enough Cam for the Bucks takes great still's and good movies.

Summary: I bought the cam to film my RepRap.. It does do that fine. If not a bit short on memory. My main thing sofar is it shows every finger print or smudge on the body. The remote control is nice if i ever figure it out. The manual is clear as mud to me but hey what ever.. Not a bad buy for the money..
