Summary: I have just received the camileo clip in the mail and have unboxed the camera. After unboxing, I have noticed that the seam on one side of the camera gapes a bit, which could possibly cause problems in the future and take away from the splash proof characteristic of the camera. I am disappointed that I have received a camera, which because of the gap in the seam, makes me question if it is a camera that was returned by another customer, was refurbished, or was just...

Summary: This Camileo Clip camcorder has an unbeatable price and a very good performance. The bundle has all you need to start making good quality videos. The software is easy to use and the included memory matches the duration of the battery charge so that you always know how much recording time you have. This package offers all you need to make decent amateur videos for a very low price. The camera is so small and discrete that you can carry it around unnoticed. Excellent!
Useful Mini Video Camera if Kept in a stationary position
6 September 2014
Summary: I am impressed by how affordable it is when it costs so much less than the competition. Though that comes at a price. The stability controls are not up to Par and on reviewing video footage its painful to watch. This would be a good product for someone who will be using it for a fixed position on a tripod or desk. It does have many useful features, so many that I haven't used them all.
Summary: This is a great little camera. I bought it to mount on my motorcycle, and take into my car (this way I always have an independent wittness shall anything happen). Picture quality is great, sound is OK (but to be just, it gets a lot of wind on the motorcycle, I don't think any camera would do good there). The only problem is the battery life. I have to have it plugged in, otherwise it cuts off in 30-40min. Can't wait to take it snowboarding.
Summary: I've just installed it on my motorcycle. Took it on a test ride and I'm very happy with the results. Some people complain about the white balance and distorted colors. I haven't noticed anything dramatic. Does it give the image quality like my DLSR? sure not. Did I pay only 2% of a DLSR price for this little thingy? yes. Would I us a camera more expensive than the motorcycle itself? no.
Summary: My 8-year-old daughter's last camcorder lasted less than 24 hours after she got it for her birthday. It was one of those Hello Kitty Camcorders that she decided to carry with her in the mall and it shattered as soon as she dropped it trying to switch hands. She was very upset but instead of replacing it I decided that for Christmas I would find something more durable. This camera was perfect for her.
Summary: I've owned this camera for about a year. The battery runs out very quickly, and takes forever to re-charge. (Right now - 13 hours and still charging.) I've never used up all the memory, because the battery doesn't last long enough. Also, the camera has frozen on me twice, making me miss some important photos. Poor video quality as well, not very clear or crisp. 2 stars because of the convenient size.
Summary: Pros: I like the rubber outer shell even though some people hate it because it makes the buttons somewhat difficult to press (which is true, but I don't mind because I need something grippy). I also like the compact size. Have not tried taking photos, yet, but video quality is above average ... transferred a few clips to PC and Mac and all played with no problem. The included 4Gb card is a plus. Cons: The battery does NOT last!
