Summary: My friend got the yellow one and after seeing the quality of video it took, I decided to get one that was a returned item for like $40. The first video I took was awesome. I hung a bird feeder from the eave of our shed and attached the camileo to the shed, like a foot and a half away. I pressed record, ran inside and then looked out the window. A cardinal flew up and started eating the seed. It flew away and after a while some other birds showed up.
Summary: The product is over a fair item. Cons: (1) The battery life sucks. It would only last 30 min for me recording video and not the 1hr+ so many reviews claim. (2) - DON'T Touch the zoom! When taking pictures of any kind, the zoom makes everything look horrible. Zooming even at any level makes the entire picture grainy. Any or all pictures taken without the zoom are clear and nice.
Not bad for the price...but a decent idiot-proof camcorder!

Summary: Was planning a video review, but it's kind of hard to do when you want to review the item which you are using to film the review! So, I have to resort to text... As a point and shoot camera, I think it fails. In the same way you don't expect a still camera to do decent video, don't expect a camcorder to do decent stills. This camera does 5 megapixel still pictures - quite frankly, not that bad.
Cheaply Made, Can't turn off the sound (beeps etc)

Summary: The video in good light is wonderful, no complaints. Low light shooting is not great - but that's to be expected. There are beeping sounds every time you push a button and you can't shut that off. When you turn the camera on and off it makes a loud chime sound - and for us, trying to video our sleeping baby - it did NOT work well. The sounds cannot be disabled. The camera feels MUCH cheaper than our Kodak Sport (which recently stopped powering on...
Summary: Got it out of the package and started playing around and only figured out when I tried to move a file to my Macbook Pro that this camera is incompatible with the Mac OS. I re-read the specs on Amazon and it does not specify this anywhere.
Summary: Ich halte mich kurz und knapp.
