Summary: For a reasonably cheap camera this is a really handy little thing. The quality is fine, there is no loud buzzy noise so I am quite happy with my purchase. The only down side is the memory card it uses. It's not included and you can only use the Memory Stick PRO Duo that has a slightly different shape than the regular (cheeper) memory cards. I haven't read the instruction manual but I have been able to figure most things out by now.
Summary: This is a good camera, especially if you can get it for $60 or less. The rotating lens lets you hold the camera at many angles as needed. It also has interchangeable batteries, which allow you to keep shooting if one runs out (unlike those that you have to plug in the camcorder to charge the battery). One big drawback (for me at least)is that RECORDING SHUTS OFF AUTOMATICALLY AT 25 MINUTES, regardless of battery or memory left.
Summary: -This is not for long distance video like at a sporting event. It would work but you shouldnt expect zoom ability to be that good. -Indoor lighting at night makes for acceptable video but not rich real life colors (this is why I give it 4 stars). Very good for day to day videos of kids though. Daytime indoor lighting is sufficient but not as good as being outdoors. -Still pictures are not that good.
Summary: I'm a musician and I used this camera and this camera alone to shoot my entire extremely low budget music video which I will place a link to at the bottom of this review (1080p recommended), It has real nice quality and everyone who see's the material I produce with it can swear I'm using industry standard equipment however I noticed a few glitches and cons with this camera, the one I received was buggy and had trouble turning on all the time (super annoying) I also...
Summary: The Sony Webbie is also know as the 'Mobile HD Snap'. As you consider package deals, try to get one that includes the specialized battery and charger, because this camera won't charge it internally using the USB port as some cameras offer. Also look for deals that include the 'Memory Stick PRO Duo', because the internal memory does not store very much time.
Summary: It came without a memory card. With the 12M internal memory, you can barely test the camcorder. So I have to buy a SONY memory card and test it. It is not compatible with general SD card. Pros: 1. 1080p, 30fps is very clear. 2. The picture option can take pictures at a 5M size, OK clear as well. 3. The battery lasts OK. Cons: 1. It does not have a memery card. 2. The sound is OK but not awesome. 3. The camera seems to set up for distant objects.
Summary: The Advantages of this product are, 1)It's a Sony 2)Compact, Nice looking 3) Swivel lens 4) Easy and Quick to Turn on and shoot The Disadvantages are, 1) Sound quality is very poor, specially outdoors 2) Very poor in low-light condition (Even my Nikon coolpix takes batter videos in low light) 3) Picture quality and size is horrible. My Old nokia phone took better pictures.
