Just the right amount of features

  • Excerpt: We purchased the HXR-NX7OU so we could improve the look of our corporate videos. The basic set up worked for the majority of what we filmed, but when we needed to make adjustments to the focal length, or iris it was a very simple process. If your using it for corporate product videos it will allow you to make quality videos with out breaking the bank.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Great Picture Quality

Excellent features.... but

  • Excerpt: Overall a great camera. For action sports, the camera lacks in quality. Even with the use of a tripod, not what I expected. I exchanged the NX70U for the NX30 (balanced optical steady shot stabilizer).
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Good in Low Light, Great Sound, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD
  • Cons: Poor Image Quality

Powerful compact camcorder

  • Excerpt: Nice HD video quality and amazing active steady shot. I obtain this camera with firmware updated to version3, so the zoom works well, and now I can record twice simultaneous. The auto setting works well. When you want to use manual, the selector and ring behind the screen is useful, but for gain modification you must use the touchscreen, that means shaking. The wide lens is great.

Camera is great but I'm missing a piece

Paul Green, Amazon
16 August 2013
  • Summary: This camera is phenomenal. My only issue is that it didn't come with the proper USB connection. I believe that it is part "C" in the manual. I dont recognize the smaller connection on this cable so I havent been able to ask for it anywhere that I've looked. I have the one that has the small connection that goes to a female USB connection, but the camera doesnt get recognized when I use it.
