Summary: Overall, a great camcorder. My one complaint is how Sony chose to handle the video clips. All of the video clips are contained inside a single AVCHD file. I have to copy the entire file down to my Mac, then open it in Quicktime Pro and "export" the individual clips to get them down to single MOV...
Summary: I use this camera for LiveStream production as well as YouTube production. It provides great resolution, is easy to use, and I love the smaller size. A real quality camera with all the necessary input/output.
Excerpt: I purchased this camcorder in the spring in plans to film our family vacation in the summer. The camera was used very sparingly prior to our trip--enough to familiarize myself with how it worked and shoot some test footage.
Summary: I am still in the process of learning what all this camera can do, but I already love it. I spent nearly a month researching the capabilities of this camera before I finally took the plunge, and so far, I'm not disappointed.
Excerpt: Picture quality is great, assuming the scene is well-lit. The floating assembly is amazing to watch and really makes a difference in the steadiness of the shot. Pros: Good Image Stabilization, Great Picture Quality, Great Zoom
Cons: Controls Are Cramped, Manual Dial Behind Hood, No Included Lanc Cable, Poor In Low Light, Projector Is Dim
