Excerpt: I have been using the Mini-DV version of this camera for over five years and it's still my main camera in shooting anything from weddings to recitals to antique tractor plow days. I purchased the digital version because of a double booking of video shoots and the fact that my mini-dv version has been so reliable. I love the shoulder mount footprint, but it's light enough to hold on the side or down low for unique angles.
Pros: Easy to Use, Great Picture Quality, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Zoom range/performance
Excerpt: I am a professional videographer that needed to update my camera for live streaming and recording. This camera has all the features and functions that I need and with the $500 rebate this is the most cost effective solution out there.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Great Zoom, Zoom range/performance
Excerpt: I use this to shoot weddings and various viral video's. Overall I really like it, great footage my only complaint is where the IAuto button is. When you hold the camera my fingers accidentally rest right where the button is.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Zoom range/performance
Excerpt: I've had great results thus far working with the Sony Shoulder mount camera. The one change I would wish to make, would be the fact that the LCD screen and the eyepiece won't work together. The battery life was half decent at just under 2 hours, but that can be expected of a camera with this amount of features. All in all, great purchase and I'll make it again in the future if they do another rebate!
Excerpt: We use this camera for a videography business, mostly on locations and the camera is versatile, robust and light weight. It could use volume control and manual focus on lens ring, but other than that, its great for the money.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Great Zoom, Zoom range/performance
