My dream's camera ever, my money maker. Awesome!
3 December 2013
Summary: The best prosumer camera for long time. It's a SONY. Ganar esta subasta ha sido una de las cosas mas excitantes para mi en este año, he esperado esta camara y soñaba con ella. Usarla al día siguiente en mi incipiente negocio fue muy recorfontante.
Great camera. REGRET BUYING FROM ELECTRONIC BASKET
10 June 2013
Summary: I bought my first Sony HD Camcorder in 2006, and now need a second one for an expanding production business. The Sony HVR-Z7U HDV is a big leap forward in technology from my original. It's beyond the typical "ProSumer" HD camera, and has a heftier feel than my first camera. HOWEVER - I GREATLY REGRET BUYING THIS FROM ELECTRONICS BASKET. The camera was delivered in May, 2013, and everything was just fine. Then, in October, the camera stopped working.
Excerpt: For the last 3 years I have been using the first Sony HDV camera, the Z1U, with great results. We took it in over 13 countries for the filming of a documentary and it preformed just great. However my Z1U, as much as I loved it, was growing old, so I went for the next generation, the Z7U, that I just got a couple days ago.The new HVR-Z7U is a pretty good piece of equipment for the [$]USD price tag. Despite a couple of shortcomings I don't regret getting it.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Great Zoom, Zoom range/performance
Excerpt: Let me say few words about B&H. Their service is excellent, whether in person or by phone, it is the same. I have visited their shop in Manhattan,it is unbelievable, their products and their service is too good. As the customer service guy promised my camera came with in a week. They have no pressure tactics unlike the other companies. I have bought two cameras with them, so far my experience with them is extremely good.
Pros: Easy to Use, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound
Summary: This is the ultimate camcorder at this time. Interchangeable lens capability sets this in a class by itself. I bought an adapter to use Nikon SLR camera lenses for special effects. (Sony sells an adapter that works with its Alpha SLR lenses, as well.) Controls are professional all the way. Images are incredible. The dual-recording to tape, chip, or both is great. I've dropped the tape recording and now use just the compact flash recording.
Excerpt: I love this camera and highly recommend it to anyone. I mainly use the camera for outdoor shoots and it hasn't disappointed yet; with the Zeiss lens, CMOS Sensor and 3 ND filters make for great picture quality in many lighting situations. It also is great indoors because it picks up light well.
Pros: Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Large Clear LCD
