  • Summary: The Sony HVR-Z5U may be a perfect choice for a run and gun coverage and a run and gun workflow.

  • Summary: Of all the DSS systems on the market, I believe that Sony provides the best performance and functionality. The bugs in the system are only minor annoyances. Now that Congress has passed a law allowing sattelite providers to show local network stations, there is no need for anything else besides the satellite hook-up.
  • Pros: Installation was a snap; RF remote works all over the house; easy to use; great overall performance
  • Cons: program guide constantly updates itself - software bug?; RF remote didn't work initially

  • Summary: When buying a DVD Player don't get taken in by the multiple disk DVD players. I do recomend getting a DVD player, better sound and picture then you can imagine. However do not get the multiple disk DVD/CD playes. They say the Multiple disks are for playing CD's but the CD's don't sound as good as a good CD Player and The Multiple Disk option could cost hundreds of dollars more.
  • Pros: Great Sound and Picture
  • Cons: Almost all DVD movies are wide Screen

  • Summary: I have greatly enjoyed this product. I think sony typically makes qaulity stuff these days and after having this cd play I would buy other sony products. It is really nice having most of my favorite cds already inside of the player. This keeps them from getting scratched or lost and lets me switch from cd to cd really fast. Great Product!
  • Pros: It has an option that lets you program the names of each CD, sometimes it goes away after programing
  • Cons: It has an option that lets you program the names of each CD, sometimes it goes away after programing
