The Sony HRD-UX7 is a 3.2-megapixel high definition DVD camcorder which combines the latest technological innovation from Sony to produce a high quality images in AVCHD format. It utilizes a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens with 10x optical zoom/20x digital zoom, and 3.5-inch widescreen touch-panel Clear Photo Plus LCD screen.

The Sony HRD-UX7 digital camcorder records straight to a 3-inch DVD-R, -RW, +RW & +R DL media formats. This camcorder includes 1/2.9-inch ClearVid CMOS Sensor that provides stunning detail and clear pictures of a maximum of 1 hour high definition video recording. It is also equipped with an optical image stabilizer and NightShot mode that still captures clear photos even with dim lighting. Its lens have an advance multi-layer coating that offers increased contrast and lessens unwanted glare and flare. The Sony HRD-UX7 allows the user to record 3 seconds of fast motion and plays the video back in 12 seconds by increasing the recording rate from 60 fields-per-second to 240 fps per 3 seconds.

  • Sony HDR-UX7

    I bought the camcorder after reading many reviews. I assumed I could record to a memory stick, however, when I try I receive an error message, "no disc". So, do I need to record to disc then transfer to the stick. If so, I wasted money on the sticks. Also, the manual doesn't have a detailed illustration about all the buttons, knobs, switches, etc. Is there a website that perhaps does? Thanks!
