Summary: I hesitated between this item and the Sanyo equivalent. I used it for 3 months at which point the shutter failed to open and therefore I was unable to use at all. It was send back to Amazon who replaced it with a brand new one, great service there!

Summary: Sony's HDR-TG3E camera is a stunning hand held device. I use footage downloaded in its original format, and freely intercut with MPEG footage from my larger Sony video camera (HVR-A1E), without any problems. The secrets, for me at least, are, edit mixed or unmixed footage with PowerDirector.
Summary: This is probably one of the worst purchases I've ever made. The Camcorder is fine, easy to use, small, compact and does what it says on the tin. It plays fine on my flat screen TV and computers.
Summary: Sony TG3 is a great product. Tiny size but fits well in the hand for filming as well as in the pocket (!) for storage though I would recommend the fitted case. The technology is all hidden in touch screen menus which I have not fully tapped into yet.
Summary: This is my first Handycam and I have to say my expectations were high and was not disappointed. The construction of the device is second to none, the picture quality is also as high. What really surprised me was the qaulity of the still pictures it takes.
Summary: This camcorder takes very high quality video it is small, easy to use and got lots of useful features. you can carry it around and hardly know you have it with you. on the down side the pro duo memory is expensive. I love it
