Summary: I bought this camcorder because all the reviews were great. Immediately after my first vacation I wanted to burn my recordings into a 3D disc. It would not burn. I went through 7 layers of Sony IT support without any resolution. They finally sent this case to their software group in Japan.
Summary: I've purchased several Sony camcorders and will continue to purchase in the future. Lost my original TD10 during vacation, so I had to purchase this replacement TD30 without even blinking. The quality and build of this product is great.
Summary: I have only owned this camcorder for around two weeks. We took it on a trip to western Canada and the recordings are amazing. The camera is also small and very light to carry. Our family loves it!
This is an excellent 3D camcorder, just okay for taking pictures.

Summary: I purchased this on Amazon initially, but it didn't arrive on time, so I ended up having to look locally and return this one to Amazon. This camera has many features, most of which I have not used. It was very simple to open the box and begin recording great video.
Summary: I took 3D video at a colorful Indian wedding. Everybody, even the hired videographer, who saw the video in the 3.5-inch LCD would go WOW. I have to try the video on my 65" 3D TV. The camcorder replaced an earlier excellent Sony camcorder HDR-CX500V, lost in Nepal.

Summary: Another post mention that a big screern 3d tv shows lack of 3D effect... Humm... I also bought Vizio 3D 65" ($1600) from big brand store and the 3D effect are awesome from the camera. I watch at 8' from the TV which vizio recommends for 3D viewing.
Summary: Outstanding picture as 3d video cam, real HD , since both lenses gives you an HD pic so the 3D is a real HD. Price at 998 $ is outstanding. Main difficulty is the fact it has no dial, all controls must be done through remote control Some how the receiver for the remote control in the bottom, since...
Summary: I have owned a TD30VE for over a month and am delighted with it. I have previously tried capturing video on 3D still cameras such as the Fujifilm Finepix W3 and the Panasonic Lumix 3D1 but have been disappointed with the playback quality mainly due to lower resolution of these devices.
