Summary: It is what it is - HDR-SR10 but the HDR-SR11 is much better. However, this camcorder will only be used for Static Cameras in paranormal investigation. However though, upon filming in the day - I noticed the Automatic Focus kept on blurring in and out when moved suddenly.
For the average camcorder user this will do nicely.

Summary: Spent many hours on internet and in stores reviewing and testing similiar camcorders in price and features from all manufacturers. Came down to price, video quality, and zoom and O.I.S. for me, o.k. and an auto lense cover I admit.
Summary: I have to say I wanted the HDR-SR11, but was too expensive for me. So I found this one for $410 and took it. Well, gotta say that besides the 10 MP it lacks, this one is fair enough for the money. Good quality, plenty of functions, nice interface, light, compact, silent, cool.
Summary: I bought the camcorder a week back after reading so - so reviewss. Amazingly Cnet.com didnt review this item but I found the review Cnet.au as editors choice of 8.4 +/- I download the video to my computer but to view the video you always need to connect to the camcorder to the computer or you have...
Summary: I got it for $750 at Dell actually, which was the best I found without a risk of using potential fraud-sellers I found on google selling it cheaper. I think it is a good entry model into HD filming. It is probably the cheapest of the decent full-HD ones. I am satisfied with the quality of the video.
Summary: It was a must the purchase of the specific model because of the TopDawg housing (discontinued model) for underwater capturing. I am very happy that I manage to find a HD camcorder to keep using my housing. I am only worry about some noise comes out from the hard disk.
