Summary: Great picture quality. Terrible ergonomics. Cons: 1. Used outside in sunlight the video will be great, but be very careful about checking if you are recording. I lost almost all an outdoor wedding ceremony because I thought I had pushed the record button. The red dot on the record button is just that, a dot, it does not light up when recording. Nor are there any lights on the outside the camera to tell you it is recording.
One of the worst for low light, auto-focus, zoom, etc.

Summary: Probably one of the worst low light camcorders I have ever used. I had a 7 year old Canon HV30 that was WAY better. It is terrible at autofocus when zooming more than a few feet, in moderate-good light (LED light I bought for $130 and a well lit room or in the day time) it's also not great. Pixelization and artifacting all over the place....And this is not a cheap camera...
