Summary: I bought this Sony Camera for myself, I actually like the way the video looks. The only thing that I didn't like about the Camera, is that it doesn't come with the HDMI to RCA cable, I have a Projector TV, I know, (I need to upgrade) I went to the Sony Website couldn't find one, I found some on Amazon, but I don't know if would work with the Sony Camera, Over all I like the Camera

Summary: Pretty happy with this camcorder, it does have a rather cheap plastic feel to it, but it works well and is light and easy to hold. I love the attached USB plug, and the built in projector is kind of a neat feature, although not something I expect I'll use that often. Touchscreen is responsive and relatively easy to figure out the menus and features.
Summary: Pros: - Size and light to carry - sexy black design - Large LCD touch screen swivel - External microphone jack - Automatic lens cover - built-in memory (16GB) - Facetracking - Shoots 1080 at 60p and MP4 friendly for YouTube uploads - Impressive macro - Simple to operate - Sony has a lot of smart automatic capabilities it is literally point and shoot - it will adjust macro/facetracking (focuses on face) on the fly for you and will display what it's doing on the screen.
Lightweight, convenient, and good results, although not so hot for Mac users

Summary: Sony HDR-PJ380/B High Definition Handycam Camcorder with 3.0-Inch LCD (Black) Lightweight, convenient, and good results, although not so hot for Mac users. We're predominately Mac users although we do have a Windows 8 laptop which we connected as well. Overall: This is an great little camcorder. Even though it's a bit funky to work with on a Mac, the "user experience" makes up for it: It's very light and easy to throw into a bag when leaving the house.
Summary: It has become standard for practically any camera these days to record video in 1080p HD, but even among all those recording devices, the picture quality can vary. There is such a thing as "cheap" 1080p and "professional" 1080p. If I were to categorize this Sony video camera, I would say that it is certainly a step above the iPhone, but don't expect to point and shoot Planet Earth documentaries.
Summary: Amazing videocam. Does so much. But have to make sure you are aware of just how hard to push the "rec" button ... since sometimes you think you pushed it hard enough and find out you didn't since it isn't recording. The shutter is sometimes slow to shut....a tad annoying. More annoying is when you turn it on and it takes a while to warm up and you have a scene you've got to record but you are waiting for the Handycam to sense the "rec" button being pressed.
