Disappointed with the Battery

SFGiantsFan, Amazon
15 February 2015
  • Summary: Overall, it was a good value. But, after using the battery once (the only time it was 100% charged), I was not able to successfully charge it to full capacity again. I discovered this fact when I brought my camcorder to a MLB playoff game.

Some pros, but some big cons too.

VisualArtsGuy, Amazon
29 March 2014
  • Summary: This review is for Sony hdr-cx260v I do filming of productions and use several cameras to record the events-this little beast is my backup unit, as it has the worst picture quality of the cameras I use. In 60i, the picture is grainy compared to my Sony hdr-cx560's and Canon g20's.

Decent Camera, But Forget About Hot Shoes!

Steve G. "Steve G.", Amazon
21 March 2014
  • Summary: I agree with many of the glowing reviews here that this is a fine camera for light use. Good picture quality, long battery, excellent little projector built, and strikes the right balance with a design that's compact but not toyish. Sets up well with my little Gorilla-grip tripod.

Teeny Tiny Mess

Daniel G. Lebryk, Amazon
7 October 2013
  • Summary: The Sony HDR-PJ380 is a miniscule, light weight video camera with a built in projector that frustrates me. On the bright side, the video quality is good, the zoom range is impressive (from really wide angle to stalker telephoto) and the recorded sound is excellent.

Cheap accessory kit.

Todd Ryder, Amazon
18 January 2013
  • Summary: The tripod is very weak and the bag is very small and not enough pockets. The shoulder strap for the bag broke as I put the strap on the bag. It's only made of plastic and very weak. The battery, charger, sd reader card, and the HDMI cable seem to be in descent shape.

It's Okay product. Go for individual items

akhil, Amazon
29 December 2012
  • Summary: The items are good at good price. You will get good bundled items however I would recommend to buy items individually. They could cost you more and you will get the good quality as well. The bag is too big for my Sony camcorder. It seems I handling a D-SLR instead of pretty small camcorder.

Nice packaged deal

dal, Amazon
16 December 2012
  • Summary: The only drawback on this is the very flimsy tripod. It is lightweight as advertised but also very unstable. Feels like a light wind would blow it over.

accessory kit

bbs, Amazon
10 September 2012
  • Summary: All the accessories were great so far except we think the car charger--couldn't make it fit with our battery pack, nor the one sent; unless we didn't know how to use it--no directions. The tripod was a great size to take on our cruise--and it opened to a nice height.

Don't buy this package for the tripod

J Tucker, Amazon
7 September 2012
  • Summary: For the money, the package is not bad. I would rate it higher but I consider the tripod very flimsly and not what I'd consider stable. Wouldn't take much to knock it down.
