Summary: Purchased this camera December 2013 and used it maybe 25 times or so, really liked it for my bands live performance capture, nice audio, but a problem with the memory card recognition started, continuous "error" message, "not installed correctly.

Summary: The camera is probably great, but the first thing i noticed right out of the box is that the camera case that comes in this bundle doesn't even fit the damn camera!!! What genius is responsible for that!?!
Summary: Audio is fine. However, the video with its wide-angle lens, distorts everything and looks horrible. A nine-foot grand piano looks three-foot deep. I would have expected Sony to provide a better product.
Summary: This Sony camera is so easy to use and it connects to a smartphone for remote use! The video and audio is surprisingly excellent. I guess I just did not expect much. I've used it a number of times and found that the placement is critical otherwise the video will look odd.
Pros: Great video and audio in a small package, easy to use, large screen for live feed display, remote use with smartphone-a big, big plus for me

Summary: meh. I was fully aware that this was a fixed lens (i.e. infinite focus / no zoom) at the time of purchase, however it gives some very strange effects. It almost has a fish eye lens effect because it has such a wide field of focus, so depending on where in frame something is, it can distort the...
Summary: Bangin. If you want to record your band playing out, this is what you need. Ignore reviews of folks who clearly bought the camera for the wrong purpose. This things needs to live on a tripod, really close to the front of the stage.
