Summary: Great sound quality with the Sony HDR-MV1. It has a user friendly menu. The recorder is being used for creating music videos However some of the videos created thus far, have audio skips or very short pauses as though the power was cycled very quickly. These skips don't happen on ever use.
It has awesome sound quality and good video as well

Summary: This camera is a must have for musicians. It has awesome sound quality and good video as well. It is perfect to take on the road with you to record your gigs. For a small camera, it has great battery life as well. I highly recommend it.
Summary: not bad, here's the link to a video I took with it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KURDkQtgyU8 I did the audio with this camera, but the video was done with a different camera, edited the video obviously. This is a song I wrote for my gf. Honestly the camera was pretty much worth it, battery life is awesome... Sound quality could be better, but hey I can't make anything better lol buy it. it's a good camera.
Summary: This is great for musicians. The sound is really excellent. Beware of recording outside because it picks up the wind quite easily. Also be aware that it distorts the video picture somewhat (a fissh-eye effect) to cover a wide angle. I imagine this is done because it is designed with musicians in mind and can film the whole band from close range. There is no zoom and the video screen turns off after a seconds in record mode.
Made for musicians, artist and jammers alike ...A winner!

Summary: Its awesome...almost pulled the trigger on a go Pro for the wide angle lens then realized audio blows on it...mostly action shots with heavy metal dubbed in the background....Needed great sound as well as audio in one package...this is a winner hands down...I even left the record levels on the default and recorded our electric band and the audio was perfect...bass player commented on how good it was...and the wide angle lens is amazing.
