Summary: I have just recently bought the Sony HDR-CX6 and as soon as i opened the box and the content's i instantly knew i had bought something special. Small, black, shiny and look's amazing (the camcorder is about the same size as a can of coca cola, it's so small).
Summary: The camera is amazing, the quality of the images extraordinary etc etc. All true. Especially good is the lack of any audio hum from the camera - as no moving parts, so the built in microphone is actually quite useful for a change.
Summary: What can I say..... Wow! Intro: This is Sony's latest HD camcorder. Instead of DV tape or hard drive, this model saves AVCHD video onto Memory Stick which is currently available up to 8Gb. Build Quality: This tiny little camcorder is the most high quality gadget I have ever seen.
Summary: I can't wait to get out and about and start filming with the superb camera (just waiting for my case to arrive) - from what I have filmed so far (using the highest quality settings) the quality is spot on with images as sharp and clear as ones you'd expect to see from a TV documentary, I do agree...
Summary: I bought this because I wanted a tiny, HD camcorder. I also wanted to forget about tapes and be able to play back the results through my PS3 to my 1080 LCD. This completely fits the bill and I'm pretty happy with it.
Summary: After carefully reading up on all the camcorders available and other customer reviews I opted for this model . . I was'nt disappointed. After ordering it arrived next morning. Straight out the box put the memory card in and did some test shots indoor and outdoor.
Summary: we haven't had any bad experience with the uncovered speakers - no unwanted wind noise considering i was using it on Eurodisney's rides. SUPER STEADYSHOT works really well, much better than the older models but obviously not as good as their professional range.
Pros: gobsmackingly clear, highly defined and true colour HD quality images, especially displayed on 1080i lcd
Cons: approx 1hrs worth of HD 1080 quality recording on an 8GB memory stick.... suits me ok but only because i record many short 3-5min movies at a time whilst on holiday. not much good for those who likes to document longer footage. memory cards still aren't cheap enough yet.
Summary: I bit the bullet after studying which HD Camcorder would suit best.I have a Vaio Notebook and PS3 so it seemed a good idea to go for this cam. I have had several camcorders over the years, including the Canon XL2.I thought nothing would surprise me,but I am overwhelmed by the high quality that this...
