Summary: Whatever you do, don't buy the KDR-CX90 - that minor model number change will leave you disappointed in lost features. The 80 is the way to go, I thought the higher number mean better, and ended up returning it for this one. Great camera! A few differences in 80 NOT in 90: mic input, touch screen, auto-opening lens cover, and overall quality.
Summary: Love the zoom, love the picture even at night. While it is a bit grainy at night, it's far better than my previous camcorder. Audio is good, pictures are good. Overall, I really like this camcorder a lot. I gave it a 4 because it really needs a remote with it. There are so many things I personally do where I'd need a remote. However, I knew it didn't have a remote when purchased so it's my own fault.
Summary: Cheetech made sure I rcvd my brand new video cam in time for my event (exemplary customer service!) & the product was brand new in it's un-opened box as advertised! I love how intuitive this camcorder is to use, and the clarity of the video it records! (I realize there is a newer version of this product, but this one works remarkably well, and I was able to get a 4-year extended warranty for it, as I'm sure I will continue to enjoy using it!
Summary: received instructions in spanish no English Bummer received instructions only in Spanish no English. Bummer the camcorder came with instructions in Spanish only no English no instructions in English only in Spanish. I'm pretty sure we're still in the United States.
Summary: I bought this camera due to reviews and bang for the buck and I'm not disappointed. The picture holds up well when blown up to 50" flat screen proportions and the auto focus seems to work well. I was surprised at how light this camera is, you can hardly tell it's in the camera bag. And it's the smallest video camera I've ever owned. Having said that the LCD screen is quite big.
