Summary: This is a great little camcorder for photos and video. It has an aux mic input so one can direct connect audio if needed. Ease of use and quality of photos and videos are great. The only problem is a Sony quality problem. There is an "E91:01" error continually showing.
Summary: love this thing. the picture is amazing, the sound pick up is stellar and the internal memory is outstanding!! Plug in capabilities for more powerful external microphone and a screw on external lens!!
Summary: I use this camcorder to video history interviews. I has performed excellently. The built in memory and standard battery is more than adequate for most interviews but the ability to add a memory card and a larger battery makes it especially versatile.
Summary: After using for about 6 months now, I can't find anything to establish fault with this camera. It takes great quality video for the price and when you pair it with a good editing software program (I use Sony Vegas), it creates awesome post production quality as well.
Summary: The camera is great for its class. I love the stabilization system. Great zoom. Picture is not as sharp as the pro class cameras but for home, youtube, internet videos and non commercial productions is more than enough. The still shots are also very nice - just like a good point and shoot camera.
Summary: This was my first video camera, so needless to say I didn't want an overload of manual options that I had to tweak in order to get a good shot. The quality is great, but a little grainy in lower light situations.
Performs good - takes longer than I would like to warm up

Summary: I have owned the camcorder for about a year. I have not read the owners manual from top to bottom. I basically just open the lcd screen and push the record button. Summary: Got this camera on Aug 2011. In Jan 2012, an error code E91:01 started showing up. It seems to be an issue with charging the flash. When I tried Sony's customer service site, the deal is, (1) this camera may or may not be under their warranty, (2) I'll have to ship this in for repair on my dime, (3)...
