The LAST Sony HDR series camcorder that gives you the option of recording in STANDARD DEFINITION!
Summary: I bought this camcorder (used) to replace my HDR CX130 (lens system died probably due to cold exposure). The reason I chose this particular model is that I like to archive my family videos on DVD, not BluRay. I have a VBD MA1 disc burner (Awesome) that will accept the standard SD cards used by my old CX130 AND the CX220. I don't like micro SD cards.
Summary: Great camcorder, but a little pricey. I wish I would use mine more often, but I find myself wanting a GoPro instead now. When I purchased this, I didn't realize, however, that I'd be moving to a lake a year later and wanting something more durable and waterproof. We recorded our wedding with this, and for that, it was worth it. The HD, zoom, and focus all work great.
Summary: I'm no video expert but this camera works well. The size makes it very convenient. The video quality seems fine (like I said no expert). Menus and ease of use is great, I'd say just about anyone could pick it up and figure it out quickly & easily.
Summary: Very simple easy to use camcorder for basic home videos. Very pleased with sound and image quality, great auto focus, easy to use controls, and lightweight body. It's not a professional movie maker, but good for home and basic use.
Summary: So far, at least, it seems to be good value for the price. Not until I've had more time to use it could I give an accurate review. But I would recommend the deal to others based on early impressions.
Summary: I love this item. the quality is really well, and the zoom is surprising good. i just love it and I'm using it all the time, to film videos. it is perfect for me. the only thing I don't like is that the battery does not stay full as long as I would want but I am gonna order another battery so I can switch them if Ineed to. I recommend this camera to everyone.
