Summary: Firstly, I managed to get this camera at a bargain price, due to the fact it was a return through Amazon Warehouse and, frankly, their loss is my gain. I feel I have to address a few of the points I read through and consequently made me worry about my purchase. 1.
Summary: After having problems with blocking on the videos of two previous Sony camcorders which used mini-DV tapes, even after cleaning the Heads, I decided to go for this model which takes HDSD Cards, so no moving parts.
Summary: Honestly this is a fantastic little camcorder. Although I knew it would be small it was actually smaller than my initial estimates, but this makes transporting and holding it all the more easier.
Summary: I bought this camcorder as I wanted a small compact camcorder with high quality high def output. After using it for a while, I am very happy. The image quality is excellent (I use it with eveything set to the highest quality).
Summary: A very compact camcorder, it's output in HD mode on my 47" HD TV is simply stunning, I am amazed at the quality from a machine that cost me £240. It is simple and easy to use, you can play about with lots of the settings if you wish, but I have found that it performs very well if you just leave it...
Summary: I bought this to replace a Panasonic which I had dropped. It is a stunning, high quality camcorder, don't let the price fool you into thinking it's a cheapo. The clarity is superb, the controls feel positive and although there is nothing fancy about it, it shoots great video.
Summary: Its not the latest model but who cares so long as it works? Comes with CD, USB lead and lead for TV. The instruction book is easy to follow and it doesn't take long to charge. A 32gb card is enough film time, for me anyway. A good camera,
