Summary: Very compact and lightweight. Video quality is what you'd expect from Sony. I particularly like the slow record mode which records for a few seconds prior to pressing the rec button. So get someone to click record after your golf swing and its all captured. Build qualityis great...
Pros: Excellent slo mo mode for recording golf swing etc
Summary: A great little camcorder for the price. Menu functions via the touch screen is a little bit fiddlely, but I don't intend to be changing options that often so more than happy to live with that. Supplied battery seems very good, but I will be looking at getting a spare. The image stabliser is ok, but have seen better - but that comes with a greater price tag.
Summary: Very impressed on the quality and the features it has for the money paid. I absolutely love it and it doesn't seem much bigger than my digital camera. I went on holiday recently and I didn't feel the need to take my camera as you can take photos anyway. If I had one bad thing to say and that is you have to remember to open and close the shutter. Not so bad remembering to open but you could put it away with the shutter left unclosed and could damage the lens.
Summary: I purchased this to take with me on holiday to America as I was touring and wanted to make a record of everywhere we went. I had never used a camcorder before so the medium was all new to me. I soon got used to it as it was very simple to use. I am sure that when I find my way aruond it in more detail my results will be all the better.
Excerpt: "I bought my Sony camcorder in February 2011 in preparation for my wife giving birth, first impression were very good. Camera was smaller than I expected it to be and even with the battery was very light weight. Theres no onboard storage so you will need to buy an SD card. The camera can record 24mbs so you will probably need a class 10 SD card (although each SD has a different transfer speed). The picture quality even on our first initial short movie ...
Pros: Great quality, very light, looks good !
Cons: Reliability issues?, accessories are expensive, no onboard storage
Excerpt: "This Sony handy cam is a fantastic camera, the interface is really easy to use. I think the touch screen is really responsive which makes it easy to navigate menus. The picture quality is exceptional although I tend to find it suffers in low light situations. The picture is crystal clear when there is a good amount of light, and the quality doesn't drop to much when you zoom in giving a great amount of details for close ups. There is very little ...
Pros: Great picture quility, easy menu navigation, great zoom
Cons: Suffers in low light, tricky manuel controls

Summary: This is a fantastic product for the money. Simple point and shoot facility and even good in low light. THe free software does take a while to download for upgrades but its very easy to use and the tagging facility and calendar are useful
Summary: So far so good. Seems to do everything I want it to do. Have not really experimented much with videos yet. I will use it mostly for presentations through a LCD projector. Having a problem with the HDMI cable I bought for it. Not sorted yet, so dont know if it is the cable fault or the cam. Watch this space. Good deliver from Amazon and cheapest deal. Not a regular internet buyer, but this turned out a very satisfactory purchase, without hassel.
