Small Smart and a great introduction into High Definition
31 October 2009
Excerpt: With a holiday to Florida looming I was torn between buying a small but cheaper range non HD camera or to take the plunge and go for an affordable HD range option. With technology always moving forward I went for the HD with the Sony Handycam HDR-CX105E. I was not disappointed.
Pros: A great value for money entry to HD filming
Cons: Will need a very powerful computer for editing .
Excerpt: This time, Sony has launched another unfeasibly small HD camcorder. HDR-factor CX105E have a more conventional form, but still impressive dimensioned. The CX105E greater than the TG3. Although only 40g heavier, the chassis is almost two times as thick.
Great little camera, forget the bundled software though

Summary: Where do I start? Amazon. Bought it here because they offered it for £377 rather then £599 in the shops. Plus I got the £50 cashback from Sony, this made it £327, for that price, I thought I'd give it a go...
Summary: Having done a lot of research before buying this and noting both general and specific comments regarding digital camcorders, I purchased this shortly before a trip to Viet Nam and started using it without reference to the manual. The cashback of £60 helped, but I would have purchased in any case.
Summary: I recently purchased one of these camcorders after considering all the different types on the market, having previously owned a Canon DV camera and it being replaced twice due to mechanical issues, one of the major points was as few moving parts as possible, being a memory stick camera this fits the...
Summary: I bought the recomended LCS-X10 case for this camera and its far too big. This camera is tiny and I guess you could use the LCS-X10 for the camera, cables and PSU, but it would still be too big and you'd have the mains plug in the bag able to damage the camera.
Summary: I've purchased this camcorder few weeks ago and I am fairly happy with this one. If Ii'd have to choose again I'd go with something more expensive. At day light the picture is great, even in the evening you can still be happy with the view.
Summary: I purchased this camcorder some months back but wanted to really test it out before I posted a review/comments. The previous reviews below are very comprehensive and I cant see the point of repeating a lot. All I will say is that the I have not had a single problem with the camcorder.
Summary: I selected this HD camcorder after days of looking at reviews of others with a similar spec. and price, and am very pleased with my purchase. It's very easy to use, as my 8 year old grand-daughter found out, and the results are outstanding.
