Summary: I finally made the jump to tapeless, and glad I did! I have an FX1 and FX1000 and wanted to increase the speed of my workflow. I love SONY Video products and thought the HDR-AX2000 would be the way to go and I was right.
Summary: it's the first time i used it . it performs flawlessly . stunning images. Editing is also simple Highly recommnended it. It records on SD card , there is no moving parts , it will last for a long time.
Summary: I have used this camera for many projects since 2010 and it has been amazing. The picture quality is outstanding, the 20x zoom is really nice to have and the tapeless format comes in handy. I use Premiere Pro for editing and haven't had any problems with file sizes or any file related troubles.
Summary: Wonderful camera with outstanding HD quality! Full range of manual control options also allow for more advanced operation. The dual XLR inputs work perfect for stage performances to connect to a sound board, but even with an external microphone sound quality is very good.
Pros: Great Picture Quality Easy to use Works well in low lighting Expanded Focus option for manual focusing Great Display Screen Easy to Record on SD Cards
Summary: We bought the camera to use in our church during worship services. We have been well pleased as to ease of use and the quality of picture. If we had it to do over again we would buy the same camera.
