Features

The Sony HDR-SR7’s Carl Zeiss lens has an advanced optical multi-layer coating that increases its contrast, with fewer glares and flare. The Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization system controls higher range of camera shake and frequencies, and gives its user full control over focus, exposure, shutter speed, and white balance. In addition, it can capture still images while recording video. HDR-SR7 is also equipped with TeleMacro function that is useful for taking close-up shots without casting a shadow on the subject. It also use the built-in intelligent flash to take pictures in low light situations with reduce shadows. For capturing videos with minimal lighting, HDR-SR7 uses its Super Night Shot Infrared system that captures video in total darkness up to 10 feet away by automatically adjusting the shutter speed to increase picture brightness and clarity.
