I'm quite fortunate to have found this great camera at a reasonable price!

7 February 2013
  • Summary: The camera works well in so far as playback is concerned. The recorded video resolution is not like new but I think it will be OK when I clean the recording heads. I am generally happy with the purchase. I have a camera identical to the one I purchased so I am quite familiar with it's capabilities.

Digital Hi8 are still good cameras

ronanr, Ebay
7 May 2012
  • Summary: I've tried before and I think this is a special serie of good cameras in a different media format. Hi8 is good, but the Digital Hi8 cameras are better than VHS, SVHS and many other formats.

Great way to upload/convert old analog Video-8 tapes at a reasonable cost.

lenpilot210, Ebay

  • Summary: Perfect device to upload/convert those old video-8 analog (and digital-8 if you have them) tapes to your computer. Built-in Firewire converts the analog signals to digital so you can easily upload using your favorite movie making software. Yes, and you can take new videos, too.

Just what I needed

mtgrown, Ebay
3 September 2010
  • Summary: I have an old (since 1993) Sony handycam that has passed its functional life. I purchased the Sony DCR TRV 320 handycam to be able to play and convert to digital format my old 8mm tapes. Some digital 8 handycams don't have that capability.

  • Summary: This is one of SONY's finest products. I bought this camcorder because I had used one of these models before. It works well manually or automatically in light and focus needs It's an older model but supplies are available. It puts out good quality and is easily edited.

Useful Old Camcorder

petemail4gca, Ebay
22 March 2009
  • Summary: Even though this camera is old it has one very important feature, it can play both Hi8 and Digital8. Why is this important? I often have people come to me needing their old family movies to be converted and put on DVD. I use this camera to do it.
