This is the best Digital camera. I own one for 8 years.

Summary: This is the best camera for the money. I own this camera for 8 years plus and I am using it for video conferencing 3 times a week and every time for atleast 2 hours. Never broken and never problem.
Summary: Camera received in condition exactly as described, or really a little better. Suggested it was used but I was a little hard pressed to see how. Arrived earlier than expected, overall a wonderful experience. If all were like this, walk-in store fronts might just as well shutter up.
A photo from my DCR-TRV30 won a national travel mag photo contest!*

Summary: I've got an asterisk in my heading because my picture won first prize for the category but not the grand prize where all the six category winners competed against one another. But I got first prize in my category! The mag was "Country Discoveries" and my picture was the one of folks in an antique car looking at a 12 foot tall Energizer Bunny made out of hay during the What The Hay contest in rural Montana 2 years ago. (3?
Summary: THis is a terrific camcorder. It does everything it said it would, and then some. I am thrilled to be able to see the screen on this camcorder, as it is much larger than any other screens on the new camcorders now. I am a paranormal investigator, and those of us who know whta to look for, love the large screen of this camcorder. I couldn't be more satisfied!!
Summary: This is "STILL" one of Sony's best single CCD camcorders made. I have owned a couple of these, and sold my last one a few months ago. I'll be looking for another one for some obvious reasons. Not for the stills, but for the excellent video it takes. I've recently bought some so called higher end cameras, and they have way more audio noise (zoom motor, auto focus motor, buzz in real quiet scenes) picked up by the mic then the TRV30's I've owned.
Summary: I now have 2 of these thanks to ebay. I bought one 5 years ago and have made some decent videos with this. I run the firewire into my PC and then edit with Sony Vegas. Shortly after this camera they started to add a lot of extra features and changed the design. The newer models put a lot of controls on a touch screen. This was not a good move IMHO because then you have to have the LCD open all the time and you get finger prints on your screen. DUMB!
Summary: This is the best mini camcorder on the market. It's small size is easy to carry, yet it still has a large 3.5" LCD display. Not many camcorders this small have that large of an LCD screen. In addition to MiniDV digital recording with a great picture and sound, the camera also has a built in 1.55 megapixel digital still camera with a pop up flash for shots in darker lite areas.
Summary: I bought it whilst pregnant (about 6 months) thinking I would really have enough time in my hands to fiddle around and learn all the tricks....Not really in reality! The baby as just turned one and I am really now starting to get the hang of it! From what I have seen so far it is great!
Summary: I purchsaed my Sony DCRTRV30 Handycam a little over a year ago. And, I could'nt have purchased a better cam. Most of my cameras (4) are now Sony products and have not found fault with any of them. Working as a Paramedic in the City of Philadelphia, Pa. I carry my Sony TRV30 with me 24/7. And, you would'nt believe some of the great shots that I've gotten at work and at play. I've even sold some fire/accident video scenes to the local media.
Summary: I purchsaed my Sony DCRTRV30 Handycam a little over a year ago. And, I could'nt have purchased a better cam. Most of my cameras (4) are now Sony products and have not found fault with any of them... This camera is impressive in it's size, features, convenience, overall performance, and it's sleek/cool styling. It make's me proud to carry and display it everywhere I go. I'm sorry to see that Sony has discontinued it's production so quickly... Happy shooting.
