Summary: I've been using TRV-10 for about 6 months now. I had taken it to most of the places I visited. No doubt, it has real good clarity both in Audio and Vedio. Its sleek and handy size is impressive. Photo quality is not at all good as noted by other reviewers. It is just OK to use for home purposes. Print (on 35mm film) sucks. The other thing that did not impress me is Memory stick. It has no use if you have an i-link feature in your computer.
Great Video, Easy To Use - Don't expect great stills

Summary: I am very happy with the video/audio quality and ease of use for this camera. The other positive reviews of this camera sum up my feelings fairly well. The one point that I do want to make in this review is: Don't expect to use the TRV10 as a still camera. The maximum resolution of 640 X 480 does not provide enough detail except for posting low-res pictures on a web site or sending in e-mail.
Summary: I have just bought this camera and I just love it. First let me tell you that I disagree with the first review. This camera is **very** simple to use, including the memory stick and the software to grab the pictures from it (just click and chose save and voila !). I also like the photo mode even if the resolution is not so good (but that's enough for "fun" picture like family and friends, nothing really serious though...
Great Camera, this is my third Camcorder... best one yet

Summary: I enjoy the features on the camera. The effects are done very easily and you can be very creative. The camera is light and the screen is extremely viewable. Kids love it when I turn the screen around and they can see themselves being taped. The connection via the I-Link to a computer is a piece of cake and the way the Firewire connection lets you take digital stills from the video tape picture itself totally nullifies the need for the memory stick.
Summary: After having used full-size Vhs camcorder then Hi-8, it is a pleasure to carry and use this unit. I looked at all of the new breed of digital units and chose this one. It is easier to hold and use than the PC-1 or the Elura and it has a larger screen on the side and takes Sony's new Memory stick. I am very pleased, this one won't sit in my closet waiting gor absolute special events.
Summary: First the goodies...its light weight and the picture quality is excellent. The sound is good too! Due to its small size it is very easy to carry. The LCD is big ( 3.5" ) which is a big plus. The not so good features are: 1. The digital camera has a very low resolution. So the pictures taken from the camera are really bad. I took around 200 pictures and couldn't capture a single clear picture. I have stopped using it now. So I guess this feature is useless..
Great camcorder. Perfect combination of size and features.

Summary: I heavily researched about 15 similar products. For my needs, this one was perfect. It has still digital photos (note, though, at 640x480 quality; this is not a high-res digital camera) at about the minimum possible camcorder size. The PC1 is smaller, but no still photos. You do need to read the manual to get past the basic features, but it's pretty straightforward and everything is well labeled.
Summary: Just bought the TRV 10. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Set up with the computer went off with no problems. Camera is lightweight and compact. Clarity is amazing. Am looking forward to vacation so that I can really put this camera trough its' paces, which I'm sure it will perform with no difficulty.
Summary: Camera is simple to use in either the still or action modes. Memory sticks make for easy transition to the computer. Documentation is easy to follow and simple to read. Setup of the camera for intended purposes is likewise in simplicity.
Summary: This Camera is difficult to learn to use and Tech Support from Sony is non-existent.The memory adaptor shipped with my unit was defective and I ended up purchasing the PCMCIA adaptor which I finally got working with the help of a local computer technician. The directions for installing the software are poor and the software is not "user friendly".
