Summary: A friend had this camera when we were in vegas, it took excellent video from the stratosphere at night. From the obversation tower i was able to zoom in on blurs of light off in the distance, once zoomed i could tell the object was a large video sign -- i was able to watch the video and read the...
Summary: I purchased this camcorder for my husband for Christmas, and was I disappointed! The Sony Handycam SR68 takes very poor quality video. The images were very grainy, although we played with the options to maximize quality. Also, the still images (photos) we took with this camcorder were awful.
Summary: I have been using the camera for about 6 months. The video quality for the price is good. I am happy with the general performance of the camera. The Sony PMB software which comes with the camera is a bit awkward to use.
Summary: OK, I have read an awful lot of bad reviews on this camera. I have to say it took me a while to figure it out. It imports in MPEG format. This is an acceptable and widely used format even for television networks. The software you use also plays a huge factor in the quality of the video.
Summary: Length:: 3:13 Mins I'm disappointed in Sony's response to my camera's errors. I would expect a much better response. "Buffer Overflow" problem, along with lost data. Hard drive errors. I would not recommend anyone to purchase this camera.
Summary: I bought this item as a Gold Box Deal with an extra battery and case with tripod, after I jumped on the item I started to read the reviews and saw quite a few reviews stating that the picture quality was poor or not that good, and I was tempted to return the item immediately, but I kept it to try...
Summary: I wanted one camera to take both stills and video. The video is fine. The still shots are absolutely terrible. To take an indoor Christmas picture of my kids for our Christmas cards I had to set up desk lamps pointed at them to get enough light. And even then it was grainy.

Summary: I picked up my grandkids from the airport, one is 7 and the other one is 10 months old. I wanted to record every precious minute we have with them. On Tuesday night December 7,2010 we stopped at the large blue and white Super W Store and bought this Sony DCR-SR68 Camcorder.
Summary: Hi All, I want a camera with minimal option and easy to take video. I am not professional photographer. I just wanna take video in small parties and some outing. This camera is easy to carry and very simple to take videos. The feature i much like in this camcorder is its zooming functionality.
