Summary: I got this for ghost hunting and YouTube video's.It's a good cam for what i will be using it for.For a standard video,i say it look's good on my HDTV,no problems downloading from cam to PC.The night shot is good, but don't go too far.You will need more light to use it outside. It's easy to use and not...
Summary: I bought the used Sony over a brand new camcorder with night vision, simply because nothing can compare to the Sony night-shot system for night recording, unfortunately, only the high end Sony Pro camcorder is the only one that has the original night shot now, so if you want it, you have to buy a...
Summary: We bought this for 2 reasons, 1. Ghost Hunting & 2. Vacations, it works awesome for both, for ghost hunting, it has an IR, infrared feature that helps you use it in the dark, you still need additional IR lighting for more viewing area for it to pick up, but for close in work, the built in IR is ok,...
Summary: PRIOR TO ME ORDERING IT, MY ORIGINAL ONE EXACTLY LIKE THIS ONE , WAS STOLEN AND I HAD TO REPLACE IT. IT CAME IN VERY TIMELY AND JUST IN FOR THE HOLIDAYS OF 2012 AND IT IS THE BEST CAMCORDER I'VE EVER OWNED YET.
Sony DCR-SR45 30GB Hard Drive Handycam Camcorder with 40x Optical Zoom
5 August 2011
Summary: Artan Kajtazi Repulic of Kosova This review is from: Sony DCR-SR45 30GB Hard Drive Handycam Camcorder with 40x Optical Zoom (Electronics) I bought this camera 2 weeks ago and I must say, it's really neat.
Summary: This is a must have camcorder for ghost hunting. I am the Co-Founder of Lawrence County Ghost Hunters and I have to say this thing is amazing for what I use it for. The only thing is the picture quality. It doesn't have the best quality but its not bad either.
Summary: I was looking for a inexpensive camcorder with Night shot and stablization for our Paranormal investigation group. I also wanted a hard drive so we wouldn't have to change DVD's or tapes every hour. I found this display model SR45 for a little more then $200.00.
Summary: This camcorder is a good camcorder in respect to size, but what it gains in smallness, it lacks in quality. Sony makes great camcorders, but the SR45 just doesn't cut it. It's highest quality video recording capability is 720x576 pixels, which is only 0.4 of a megapixel.
Summary: Like everyone else, I researched this to death. Read all the reviews, compared prices, compared models, compared brands, etc. I ended up purchasing the Sony DCR-SR46 (same as DCR-SR45 only with 60GB harddrive instead of 30GB). The camera itself is really nice.
