List All 3 PricesThe Sony DCR-SR200 is usually described as the best of both worlds, for recording still images and video, because of its 5.1 channel surround sound and the ability to capture 4.0-megapixel images and 2.3-megapixel photos while recording video due to its dual recording mode.
DCR-SR200 has a 2.1-megapixel ClearVid CMOS sensor that provides clear images and video sequences. It uses high-quality Carl Zeiss lenses for improved contrast that provides vivid photos with real-life colors and tones. It’s 10x optical zoom and 80x digital zoom brings far-way subjects closer without distorting its resolution. It also has a recording rate of 240 frames-per-second for every 3 seconds. Sony also equipped the DCR-SR200 with its advanced Super SteadyShot picture stabilization system which eliminates higher range of camera shake and vibration frequencies to achieve image smoothness. It also uses a unique shock absorber that protects the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) whenever it is accidentally dropped, without affecting the on-going video recording.
Get the best of both worlds with the DCR-SR200 Handycam® camcorder. It records video directly to the built-in hard disk drive and lets you take 4.0 megapixel photos.
