The Sony DCR-HC52 is a miniDV Handycam(R) camcorder with 40x optical zoom / 2000x digital zoom , 2.5" touch panel, NightShot ® Plus and Easy Handycam button. It has an in-built microphone, Full range auto / Manual (Touch Panel) focus, 24 step (touch panel) exposure, and comes with a Power Adapter/In-Camera Charger (AC-L200), InfoLITHIUM® Rechargeable Battery (NP-FH30) and Multi A/V Cable (Stereo). The camcorder measures 63 x 85 x 115 mm and weighs 440g (with battery).

Features

The The Sony DCR-HC52 features a 1/6" Advanced HAD™ CCD Imager, 680K Pixels, 40X Optical / 2000X Digital Zoom, a 2.5" Touch Panel SwivelScreen™ LCD Display (123K Pixels), and Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar lenses. The camcorder also features i.LINK® Interface (IEEE1394) for transfer of images from the camcorder to compatible devices equipped with an IEEE1394 interface, InfoLITHIUM® Battery with AccuPower™ Meter System that displays the battery time remaining in minutes on the viewfinder or on the LCD screen, Stamina® Battery Power Management System, Easy Handycam Button that "locks out" some advance features during recoding and lets users focus only the buttons essential for recording, Fader Effects, manual focusing, supports Multi-Language Menu, and NightShot® Plus Infrared System. It also features Picture Effects and Scene Selection Modes.
