did not come with the power cord needed to operate it without batteries.

bob, Amazon
2 July 2013
  • Summary: This did not come with the power cord needed to operate it without batteries. Luckily this was a replacement, and I had the old power cord, which was included when I bought the original back in 2002. A separate shipment came with two batteries and a wall charger, but i still was wondering where my power cord is.

THEY DON'T TELL YOU HOW TO GET THE USB STREAM

Mona Montgomer "Mona Montgomery", Amazon
2 January 2006
  • Summary: They give you this manual (actually two manuals). The first manual refers to you to the other manual. Then the other manual tells you in three places that the method for achieving USB stream (web cam and conferencing) is different depending on the model. That's all they tell you! Honest. The manual says "SET USB STREAM IN THE MENU SETTINGS OF YOUR CAMCORDER TO ON. The procedure of the menu settings varies depending on the model." Well, what's that supposed to mean?

"Software is crap"

CNET
23 July 2004
  • Pros: My first digital camcorder. It is easy to operate.
  • Cons: The software is the worst junk I have ever seen. Is Sony not embarrassed to ship such crap? Here is an idea for software. I would like to: (1)Copy pictures and videos to my computer or burn them on cd.
