did not come with the power cord needed to operate it without batteries.

Summary: This did not come with the power cord needed to operate it without batteries. Luckily this was a replacement, and I had the old power cord, which was included when I bought the original back in 2002. A separate shipment came with two batteries and a wall charger, but i still was wondering where my power cord is.
Summary: They give you this manual (actually two manuals). The first manual refers to you to the other manual. Then the other manual tells you in three places that the method for achieving USB stream (web cam and conferencing) is different depending on the model. That's all they tell you! Honest. Cons: Those listed in the main review that I noticed in use: lack of wind screen and sometimes awkward touch screen control. Like most all products, there are tradeoffs and never a one-size-fits-all. Some noise in low-light conditions. Somewhat slow auto-focu
Pros: Very handy. True colours. Great for outdoors. Stills are OK on outdoor.
Cons: IEEE cable is optional!!! (don't understand SONY's logic on this. Still struggling to download videos on my laptop (not sony VAIO). If someone can help me in downloading videos using USB would be great.
Pros: My first digital camcorder. It is easy to operate.
Cons: The software is the worst junk I have ever seen. Is Sony not embarrassed to ship such crap? Here is an idea for software. I would like to: (1)Copy pictures and videos to my computer or burn them on cd.
