I got my camcorder from amazon (in sep,2009). I used this once, but when I transferred the pictures to my laptop, pictures were not clear. I tried the following but failed: (a) Resetting the camcorder (b) Turning the power OFF and ON (c) Checking lens for some dirt. Please suggest what can be done to make pictures more clear.

I want to connect the camera to an iMac computer via a firewire. I have a 6 to 4 pin wire but the 4 pin does not fit the camera. I read that all sony camcorders have 4 pin firewire capability. How do I connect my camera to the computer?
