Flawed excellence, what a shame

Mr. A. J. Gemmell, Amazon
24 February 2009
  • Summary: I bought the camera to take to Australia to visit friends we last met in 1969 and bought a Sony because we have always had great service from our other Sony camera a cybershot DSC-P71. The touch screen is super and easy to use and the pictures are good quality, overall it performed very well at first. I had dvd+rw discs as bought with the camera and dvd-rw I got later as you can edit them on the camera after you get back home.

A bit disappointed

Diana Evans "mercedes", Amazon
13 December 2008
  • Summary: I have been making movies for about 4 years with the video mode on my ordinary cameras, I wanted to be able to zoom in further on wildlife, as above I am a bit disappointed with the shakiness of the footage, you definitely need a tripod to zoom in to digital x2000, there is no stablization as there is with my Fujifinepix camera.

Good, but there are better out there

A. Lewis, Amazon
28 July 2008
  • Summary: The DVD 110 is by no means a bad camera and will serve most people well. The picture quality is not brilliant so if you really want a clear crisp picture that truly reflects the colours and depth you see with your own eyes then look elsewhere. The manual is mind boggling too... and confusingly there is also the DVD 115 model which has all the same features of the DVD 110 but 5.1 nicam surround sound recording for improved sound back on home theatre systems. All in all i...

Besser eine Cam mit Festplatte zulegen

A. Rodriguez "A to tha D", Amazon
17 August 2008

Danystar79, Ciao
27 May 2008
