Bad Battery Life, Bad USB placement

Summary: The battery life on this camera is terrible. Since the battery is non-removable, you only have USB as a choice for charging which is pretty slow as well. The USB popout is directly next to the camera mount which means you can't charge the camera while it's mounted. It seems as if no usability test was done for people that actually record video. The picture is acceptable but battery power kills the quality of the product by at least three stars.
Summary: Firstly, as many have mentioned, the Sony Bloggie is a beauty! I got it in the brushed silver metal. Sleek, small. Looks awesome! Nice packaging. That's where my love ends. I bought this camera, mainly based on so many people saying the audio quality was very good (and that the video was pretty good as well). Sadly, I find the audio to be VERY poor, mostly picking up the slightest movement of hands, rustle of clothing, breathing, etc.
Summary: Why would you produce a video recording device that also recorded the ticking sound made from the camera? How does this make it past the designing stages? I love that it doesn't have cords. I love the size and visual quality. I love the touch screen. I HATE that frelling ticking sound! Seriously! FAIL.
Summary: These have not worked nearly as well as I would have thought. They don't hold a charge for the full two hours they are supposed to and they sometimes shut off in the middle of recording. Very frustrating!
Both video and still photo quality lower than expected

Summary: I would not recommend this for anyone who already has a mobile device such an MP3 player or smartphone that takes acceptable videos and photos. I have a basic Samsung Galaxy MP3 player from last year that takes better still photos and comparable video. I only tried using it indoors since that's the main purpose I bought it for. The room was well lit in the middle of the afternoon, but the video was grainy with poor color. The photos were even worse despite the 12MP.
Summary: I bought this Bloggie for one reason - to be able to video tape the 3 hour workshops where I work and my old flip camera could only do 120 minutes. Since this one is listed as a "Sony Bloggie Touch Camera, 4-Hour" I thought it would be the perfect solution but the battery only lasts for 120 minutes the same as the old flip which is very misleading.
Summary: This Sony Bloggie Touch makes me wanna holler in their ears--that is if they can hear anything. What was Sonny Boy thinking? This audio absolutely SUCKS! The HD vid quality is nice, quite good, even if the focus is like a demo iPhone 1. Sony probably rushed this to market expecting people to not care about that giant hiss factor playing in background. If anyone has figured out how to master this problem, please post to me.
Summary: It does take fairly good clear videos, but the still camera takes low quality photos and there is no flash, despite the cost. My phone camera takes better photos. The other problem is that the only way to charge it is via the USB port. So if the battery runs low and you don't have a USB port nearby, you're out of luck. And there is no additional video card or image storage. So much for vacation videos...
