Summary: I just got the Sanyo VPC-SH1 yesterday so these are first impressions. But I've spent quite a bit of time with it already. I'm a single guy who will primarily use this camcorder to share short clips online, and occasionally burn a DVD.
Summary: Cracking little camera that is light and can be put in trouser pocke. the Perfect holiday companion and better than the pocket cameras as the zoom was far greater. Only downside is the picture quality in the dark as the flash light is not great but expected really for a camera this size.
Summary: This sanyo VPC-SH1EXBK Xacti SH1Full HD Camcorder, is fantastic, i have purchased this camcorder to record by childs up brings, its very small and handy, so easy to use, and also takes pictures as well as films. I would recormend this to anybody, a great buy for the price.
Summary: Can't believe the quality of the images and sound for the price. I have a Vado and this is planets ahead. Very little drop in image quality when zooming. Not great in low light (gloomy pubs at night) but I think that would be expecting too much.
Summary: For 40+ years I have taken photos of deer and other wildlife, reluctant to buy a camcorder for the same purpose. However the SD card simplicity of the Sanyo Xacti sounded worth the risk and has proved to be ideal: * the x27/30 zoom works very well. I have a lightweight tripod.
Summary: Hi All, I was given the task at work of finding a relatively cheap video camera that we could document and analyse our production processes. After looking at several similar cameras we decided that this one ticked more boxes than the others did.
