Summary: Light weight. Extremely easy functions. Good all around video/camera. I have not dropped this camera, but am really concerned about durability. Optic zoom awesome, digital zoom not so much. Low light video quality scores low marks, But well lit indoor video recording and daylight outside recordings scores high marks. Definitely well worth the price. This item would make a very reasonable gift for many age groups.
Summary: The main draw back of this dual camera is its video quality whilst its picture quality is reasonable. The reason I am a bit disappointed with its video quality, was after I compared it with the Flick (non-HD) camera; the Flick unit tooks better quality video, especially under indoor/low light conditions.
Summary: When you obey the rules of small sensor cameras, this one will take a good picture. It should not be used in place of a good point-and-shoot camera on vacation, but it has it's place. I would use this camera in conjunction with my favorite camera for the video only. The camera shutter speed need to remain above 1/100 to take a good out-door picture. This means that you need good sun light. The iso needs to stay at 50 if you want a decent jpg.
