Summary: This has been an excellent camera. Battery life could be longer and more zoom might be useful, but honestly it makes high quality video (in good light) and captures sound well. It's small enough to travel with conveniently and, though it has been dropped many times, continues to function normally after nearly 2 years. I use it for videoing clients, training sessions, events, and interviews and never have issues with cut-off or recording problems.
Summary: my Sanyo VPC-PD2BK is crazy compact! provides great pics and videos especially with it's 3x optical zoom. i originally got this to carry with my Skywarn Weather Spotter gear i use for storm spotting. captures storm clouds and weather fronts perfectly for my amateur needs. so light you almost forget you have it. does very well in the low light conditions of heavily overcast skies. taking it on vacation it did not disappoint when taking panoramas and stills.
Summary: I have had this camera for some six months..For the most part I have kinda liked it..As i'm not a tweeter or face bookie it has not been easy to just load images on my computer with out spending a lot of money for the software to do so..This item is very socially connedted but not me and that is something one should watch out for if considering this camera..All I wanded was a small HD camera to take some movies with. Not place on the internet... Buyer be ware.
Summary: Chose this as a pocket camera when I realized it's not always such a hot idea to use a cell phone for a camera (and risk losing the phone, and all the contact info in it). Great video quality, easy to use. It also fits nicely in an old Blackberry holster.
Summary: I bought this camera for documenting pictures and video of our first born and it is OK for pictures as long as you either use the flash in lower light or are in a bright daylight setting. The video is OK as well as long as you don't move or pan very very slowly. When you have a bright daylight setting and still video the picture is great. Battery life on the other hand is abysmal.
Summary: I recently Purchased this Camera with Good Expections , Disposed of it Otherwise Today ! To Me it was Cheaply Made , and Lacked Build Quality ! I had Trouble Using it , as Previously Noted by Others ! Perhaps a Bit Too Small to Use , for Me ! I am No Judge of Video Capabilities , and it did Produce Several that I do not Consider Good !
Still a great camera, Heres what to do if screen breaks

Summary: The camera works fine, the pictures were great, video was good. I was real happy with it for almost a year and then turned it on one day and the screen was white with what looked like a black leaf on it. The was no damge to it, the only thing I could think of was a coin in my pocket bumping it. I called everybody trying to find a replacement screen. Sanyo has been bought out by another company and there are no parts available.
Very nice video, superb audio, real focus, flash and zoom! Firmware update desired, but 2 years later, died!

Summary: UPDATE 11-12-2013;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; --; I have used this Camcorder as my primary dash cam on my car for a bit over 2 years from now, and also use it around the house, at events. I have been through about 10 aftermarket batteries, only the "GT-Max" batteries are any good, and last a good 9 months of moderate use before going to crap.
Summary: I bought this several months ago for my trip to Egypt. During the trip it did pretty well. The picture and video came out quiet nice.. The sound quality was good, I didn't find any problems with picking up my guide during the multiple trips. The zoom feature is good, I would of liked to have been able to zoom more but it did a good job. When zooming, shaking increases so it might have been a good trade off by design.
