Poor battery life

Nessa36, Amazon
19 February 2011
  • Summary: I bought this to take on a skiing holiday and used it before hand, to find that the audible warning 'Low Battery Power' (or 'baddery' as she's American) sounded after only about 6-7 minutes filming. We had bought 2 extra batteries but how was this going to last a day or even a morning worth of filming? Also unless you're using a tripod, the camera is incredibly uncomfortable and unnatural to hold.

Sent back

Mr. T. De La Mare, Amazon
14 January 2011
  • Summary: I cannot review this item as it never turned up in time for my holiday! I aid for next day delivery and it took about 10 days to turn up. I ended up buying a camera from Dixons at Heathrow airport on my way to my holiday.

The main controls have been moved to the side, where they are most difficult to use. Photographically it cannot be faulted. The biggest problems occurred when I downloaded the films to my PC. Playback was incomplete with only the odd frame being displayed. My PC said that to view the films CODEC was needed to view them.

Dual camera - Not really

Heikki Doyle, Amazon
12 April 2010
  • Summary: I bought this after reading what reviews were available and naively believing the specs. I was looking for a new camcorder and this claimed to shoot full HD quality as well as take 14mpix photos, great, I could replace my camera at the same time. However, the results were woeful. The video, even though it claimed 60fps was jerky (looked like a part of a second every few seconds was being lost), but much more drastically it could not cope with the camera moving (e.g.
