Still Working Great
2 July 2014
Summary: After a few years of use this little camcorder is still going strong. Still takes great video in 720p and I can barely tell the difference between my fiends way more expensive 1080p camcorder. This thing gets used on family vacations every 6 months and the occasional birthday party. Battery life it has taken about a 10% drop over the last few years but nothing to worry about. If I needed another camcorder I would buy this one again.
Summary: The Sanyo VPC-CG10 is a dependable, well built camcorder. XLNT.720P image, and clear stereo audio. The still photos are crisp with a choice of different hi-resolutions. You have the video choice of 640X480 standard def., too. I got mine on Ebay for $40.00 and never regreted it. Mine was the less popular "pink" color which didn't bother me. Buy a Sanyo CG10 and you'll be satisfied. (also there's a voice recorder inside the menu/called "memo".
Summary: I was surprised how good the video was on this camera. It's only 720P HD video but it looks absolutely awesome on my big screen LED television. The camera is small, light and fits in my wife's purse. She carries it all the time and pulls it out when she wants good video of the kids. Don't zoom while you are recording video, you need to zoom first, then click the record button or you will get blurry videos.
Summary: Yes there are isssues about its foucsing and balance adjusting, but find another video camera that fits in your pocket and works when you need it to. I have other cameras and video cameras, and they are all much better, but this one was in my car when I needed it,
