Summary: I chose 4 stars because apart from everthing working and it doing everthing it was described to do the batteries don't run for long However the person I bought it from was kind enough to put a spare battery in so thumbs up to you :)
Summary: This is the most useless piece of consumer electronics I have bought. The main issue is that the sound and video end up out of sync which is kind of fundamental. Samsung exchanged it for another but that is just as bad. Now thinking about binning it and buying a replacement - not from Samsung.
Summary: This camcorder isn't movie quility it doesn't have super sound however it works well, the picture is great, burns mini dvd's and finalises them ready to watch on your dvd players, or to put on to your computer. Value for money is pretty good.
Summary: The camera records and does what it's supposed to just fine but it doesn't come with a cable to connect it to a computer. You can't put the disk in and copy across because half the stuff on your camera goes missing! It has a tv connecter but if you want to edit it or show it using a computer you can't. Also, when i put the disks in i have to format them, fine.
Summary: It's not the best digicam with mini-DVD functionality, but if you want the best, pay £500+. I found it did everything it claimed to and more than I expected. Picture quality was excellent, even freeze frame was good. Snap shots were only 800x600 so only good for on screen vieweing on a PC - but if you want a STILL camera, don't buy this is, it's only an added feature - but as a VIDEO camera, the lens quality is ACE and the zoom very stable.
Summary: I had to give up with this little machine. Although it appeared to work fine, recording on to mini dvd's, there was the slight complication that the discs would not play back ! I believe that the problem may have been that there was a fault and the camcorder was not finalising discs, even though it indicated that it had. The discs just would not play back in any machine or computer.
Summary: When the camcorder arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how small and lightweight it is. It is extremely simple to use although the battery life is terrible - about an hour. The zoom is good but the image shakes a lot when you have it on maximum zoom. The lens cover doesn't come attached with a string so I lost that on the day I got it. The sound quality is fairly good but you can't really hear it if you play it back on the camcorder rather than a tv or laptop.
