Great for the $$ but 2008 technology "tapes" with no apparent transferring.

Summary: Uses only tapes. Doesn't come with av cable. There is another model like this that has a direct connect for usb. Not even sure what the av port works for but didn't come with one for me to tell whether it does anything on this camera. The camera itself works/shoots great, easy to use and great view finder that rotates. Also, doesn't have a remote. Let's call it an awesome camera for the time frame but pretty dated for today's standard video needs.
Summary: Lots of settings. Poor video quality. I did side by side comparison of video clips of the same scene. My Canon Powershot A570 digital camera takes much better video clips than this Camcorder. Keep looking.
Summary: This is an awsome little camcorder, shoots great picture, has good options, and has a great zoom, i would have given it 5 stars, but mine broke after 2 weeks, but i sent it in to get repaired, and they already shipped it back so Life Is Good

Summary: I bought this because I like to snowboard, and I thought having a small camcorder to capture footage would be awesome... ** - When the camera got cold (not wet), it just shut-off. - The battery doesn't last long, especially if the display is open. - It takes a while to start, and before it begins recording... the tape rewinds 0:03 seconds, deleting some past footage. - The color/quality isn't very good, and it takes a long time to focus.
Summary: i like the camcorder, no complaint here. battery life is not that good , so u need another battery.picture is good. i taped my sons party with it, the video is clear. i just got it a month ago. so far i like it.
Excerpt: "I brought this camcorder as a starting point, as I liked to make mini movies. It does its job, but there are a few niggles which make this camcorder just above average..... Firstly, the sound quality, you can hear the motor during playback and it can get very distracting, particularly on indoor filming. It doesn't help that there is no Mic option either, so its a case of learn to live with it, or screw you :( The picture quality, though not ...
Pros: Cheap, and very easy to use
Cons: Grainy picture quality and buzzy audio is a slight problem
