The whole process was a disaster

Summary: This was the first time I purchased a used item on Amazon. My disclaimer is that I tried to cancel within a few minutes of placing the order and I kept getting error messages along the lines of "there is a problem with the website, please try again later." I have never had a problem with any Amazon website before, so I thought this was strange.
Summary: I could not view old footage with this camera. When I put in to view old footage from my miniDV tapes the picture would flicker constantly. The camera is not compatible with my iMac and the became a even bigger problem than the old footage flickering. I was pleased that I was able to return the camera and get full refund including shipping. I've never had such a pleasant return experience so that made up for the disappointment.
Summary: I seached for whoever had a good product description, positive rating and a low price and this seller was it. The camera was well packed in protective wrap and packaged with care. Everything for the camera was included (battery, wires, manuel). Product had no marks, scuffs, or any damage and still had the screen protector on the screen. Recommended seller for used electronics.
Summary: When I received this unit it was improperly packaged in a cardboard box with no-zero-packaging material. The camcorder and the power module were bouncing around off of each other. Upon inspection and attempt to load a cassette cartridge I found that the switch to open the tape cassette holder was missing from the unit. Therefore the unit does not work.
Great for the $$ but 2008 technology "tapes" with no apparent transferring.

Summary: Uses only tapes. Doesn't come with av cable. There is another model like this that has a direct connect for usb. Not even sure what the av port works for but didn't come with one for me to tell whether it does anything on this camera. The camera itself works/shoots great, easy to use and great view finder that rotates. Also, doesn't have a remote. Let's call it an awesome camera for the time frame but pretty dated for today's standard video needs.
