Summary: its light and it was easy to use however the picture wasnt that great. It did not cost too much so it was an ok buy but if I would have known the picture quality I would have shelled out more money for a better cam
Summary: I purchased this camera 4 weeks ago for $129 at Sears. It's small, lighweight, the screen is very clear. The menu is easy enough to navigate around. Battery lasts 2 hours before it needs charging. I like the fact you can plug the camera into a USB socket and it will charge the battery....
Summary: I like this Camcorder. I think it is a good value for the price. It's light weight and easy to hold onto. The video quality is good, not what I would call HD but at least DVD quality. The video is NOT 16x9, it is 720x480 as several camcorders are.
Summary: You need to be aware that this camera is virtually worthless without a tripod. My FlipCam use misled me into believing that shaky recordings really weren't a problem for hand-helds. Wrong! This Samsung catches the slightest vibration and the subsequent videos are painful to watch.
Pros: Great zoom; small; great price. I got this to replace a FlipCam and it did - and it didn't.
Cons: No image stabilization - this is critical. It turns out that FlipCam has advantages over other hand-held cameras. Understand that you need a memory card (sold separately). Not as pocket-friendly as a FlipCam.
