Summary: Despite what other reviews have said, the picture quality is not bad (at least for Youtube). These days, who bothers with burning their holiday videos on to disk? I wouldn't want to sit through some hour long video of someone else explaining their holiday to me, so I wouldn't force someone else to sit through my vacation. I simply upload my videos onto Youtube with a description, and send whoever I think would be interested the link.
Summary: I got a great deal on this camera with a Gold Box offer. I originally was looking at those one-button video cams before I found this deal. With the 100 clams price and all the features this camera has, it was a no-brainer to pick this one. The ergonomic angled lens really makes it comfortable to shoot a lot of video. The SDHC card format is perfect for my laptop and the editing software right in the camera is so convenient and saves time.
Summary: Here is a video I shot from the rear deck of my Spec Miata using an IO port racing mount with poly bushings. Settings were sport mode with anti shake turned on. I seem to get a better quality picture with anti-shake turned off. It would be awesome if I could buy a remote for this camera, it's hard to control it when I'm belted in. Instead I have been turning the camera on in paddock and just clipping out the portions of the video of me sitting on grid.
Summary: I have to preface this by saying I just received the camcorder today so I am still learning the functions. Video quality seems to be perfectly fine to me. In bright light the colors look very vibrant and true to life. In dim light things are a little less colorful as you would expect. There are a multitude of scene modes which should really help if you take the time to set the right one for the conditions you are in.
Summary: If Poetmaster found the image quality "clear and crisp" then I might've gotten a defective camera. Even at the finest setting, the image quality was blurry and desaturated. It lacked contrast even outside. Sure, the video on the LCD panel looked great but not so on the monitor. In auto focus mode, it had a hard time focusing when you were walking around SLOWLY. In "Web Fine" mode, the playback was suffering from severe tearing (on a quad core/3GHz/4G ram PC).
Summary: I just received this camera today and have had a lot of fun playing around with it. I am NOT a techie, so this is not going to be a spec-filled review. These are just my first impressions. Pros: -Intuitive and very easy to use. I hardly looked at the setup instructions and was able to record and play back without any difficulty. -The slanted lens means you can hold the camera at an angle rather than horizontal.
Summary: I received a sucky video camera for christmas which was a kodak which i expected to be great but it wasnt. I took it back to the store and found this samsung c10. Pro: The zoom is amazing for a low price compact video camera The sound quality is also amazing I haven't looked at the manual yet and I dont need to because it is sooo amazing. It has an easy to use menu that allows you to change the settings.
Summary: I bought this primarily to create web videos. I did not expect to make DVD quality videos. Easy to operate and easy to carry. If you have large hands, probably you wouldn't like this camera. It is SMALL! It performs all the functions I require. Even low light indoors is pretty good without a flash. This is perfect for home movies. Your children can operate. This camera is portable, moderately priced and big bang for your buck.
Early signs are very promising - great hand position

Summary: I bought this for a vacation, I wanted something, light, portable and easy to use, moreover something with a good battery life. I have been very impressed so far with the Samsung in every way. It's tiny, but the most used buttons are easy to use and operate even with big hands, and are duplicated on the menu flip out screen and on the unit top itself.
