Just ok at this point.

Summary: This was great when it was brand new. However, it feels very outdated now compared to other digital camcorders. I would not purchase one NEW at this point. A used one might still be worth it though.
Summary: While An improvement over my last camera, the version of this camera I received has this buzz on Audio. you'll probably need a dedicated Mic to get anything decent, but the audio jack on the back is either not for a mic, or requires a specific model that I am not aware of. Zoom is testy, and you'll need to mess with the settings to get best video quality--whcih is not reflected in that of the LCD monitor. Results will show differences than what you see on that screen.
Summary: I have had really good results with this camera and for the price it is worth having. the ease of transferring the video as files from the SD card to my iMac saves time and hassle. When the files are imported into iMovie they are automatically converted so iMovie can use them. The image stabilization works pretty well. Now that I have made some movies using this camcorder I have bumped up against a couple of limitations. 1. no mic input jack.
Summary: bought this camera in November 2009. within 3 months, the camera would not recognize a battery. i bought a new battery, same thing. so, since it was out of the labor warranty, i had to send it back to Samsung and they replaced the battery mechanism for $40. they customer service was very good. the camera takes good movies, not great. sometimes they would be jumpy when recording to the flash memory.
Summary: I won't dwell upon the little things missing from such an inexpensive camcorder (viewfinder, for one). You expect to sacrifice some details when you strip a camcorder down to its bare essentials and sell it cheap (well, not really cheap but inexpensive). While you won't get DV quality video, you will get acceptable quality as long as you understand that you're shooting in a highly compressed H264.
Summary: I had purchased this item on 30 Mar and it arrived upon the 31st! Now I ask you, is that service or is that, service? (5 Stars) Camera had arrived with all items advertised and in excellent condition. After only a few short minutes, this camera was fully charged and ready to go. Found it exceedingly easy to use and the video quality with the audio is outstanding.
Summary: this is a very nice camcorder for the money! like any camcorder it takes time to master. this camcorder has many features and a image stablelizer to boot. its very easy to use. but for three times the cost you should go for the canon hv30 for quality pictures.
Summary: This camcorder has many interesting features, shoots pretty good video for its price range, and a battery with reasonable shooting time. It is designed primarily for use with a computer, and has limited connections available. Included are cables to get USB and composite video out. No Firewire, RGB, or S-video connections are available. This camcorder is designed specifically for the mobile, computer-based video user, and has "You Tube friendly" tags in several places.
