Decent video, lacking audio

Summary: While An improvement over my last camera, the version of this camera I received has this buzz on Audio. you'll probably need a dedicated Mic to get anything decent, but the audio jack on the back is either not for a mic, or requires a specific model that I am not aware of. Zoom is testy, and you'll need to mess with the settings to get best video quality--whcih is not reflected in that of the LCD monitor. Results will show differences than what you see on that screen.
Summary: I didn't really use this camera much initially or care about the quality/sound, now I'm using it more I notice that the sound is out of synch with the video. I've researched online and there is some software you can get to work around the issue. However IMO it should work "out of the box" not have to use a third party software to use it! I'm looking at buying another camcorder now, this one just doesn't cut it!
Summary: I have had really good results with this camera and for the price it is worth having. the ease of transferring the video as files from the SD card to my iMac saves time and hassle. When the files are imported into iMovie they are automatically converted so iMovie can use them. The image stabilization works pretty well. Now that I have made some movies using this camcorder I have bumped up against a couple of limitations. 1. no mic input jack.
Summary: bought this camera in November 2009. within 3 months, the camera would not recognize a battery. i bought a new battery, same thing. so, since it was out of the labor warranty, i had to send it back to Samsung and they replaced the battery mechanism for $40. they customer service was very good. the camera takes good movies, not great. sometimes they would be jumpy when recording to the flash memory.
Summary: I have had this video camera for about a year now.I am 14 year old and have used this video camera a lot.i used to play airsoft and would videotape that. But now it is not very useful to me. Here are some Pros and Cons. Pros: Very easy to use. Nice zooming but not very steady without a tripod. Easy to upload onto youtube. Great if your not very experienced. Nice storage space. Comes with carrrying bag. Cons: Editing Software is CRAP!
Summary: Camera is a nice shape and easy to hold and I think it would work better if a person could use a tripod. I was aggrevated when I found that the graphics card on the computer had to be appropriate for the MediaShow program because there were no computer requirements mentioned in the paperwork, the store details or by the sales clerk and Windows Media Player could not play the movies . . . now it's return the camera or try to update my video card.
Summary: This digital camcorder is pretty nice. But, I got it at the same time I picked up another camcorder from Sanyo and I have to say I like the Sanyo better. The pros on this camcorder is it is a pretty small form factor (not small enough to fit into my pocket like the Sanyo though), it uses a rechargeable battery and it's records on a standard media. But, it doesn't take still pictures and the camera looks and feels kind of cheap.
