Sound quality, Sound quality (ehh-Samsung)

  • Excerpt: I saw few reviewers have complained about the sound quality and about the type of ringers. WELL, I'm not surpriced anymore. There is something wrong specifically with Samsung GSM flip phones. All Samsung flip phones (at least the ones for american market) have bad sound quality. This include: E105, e315, x475, x495 and others. Sound quality is the main reason why not a cingle Samsung phone ever got 4.0 review neither on this forum nor on any other forum.

Major selling point for me...

  • Excerpt: The speakerphone. I'm not deaf, but, I have a hard time hearing through any cell phone especially in the car. The speakerphone is not a separate speaker so the sound is amplified through the ear piece on the phone. I can now hear anyone in any situation. I originally had the Moto v330 and although a good phone was just way to low even with the spkphone which is on the back and small.

Samsung phones need major reinvention.

minotauri, Phone Scoop

  • Excerpt: My first Samsung phone was the SGH-S105 and then later I had the E715 (2 months) and E315 (for about a month). In all cases it didn't seem like Samsung improved much. Sure the color displays got more colorful and brighter, and they added a camera and spoofed up the user interface with animations and whatnot, but the basic fact that the phone does not perform as other phones do in the same price range is telling that Samsung needs to show improvement.

Samsung e335

  • Excerpt: I think this phone is fantastic, especially for free. If I had paid for it I may have expected to have a few more cool features but overall this phone is extremely useful and user friendly. I have never had a phone so easy to navigate. Before this I spent $395 on a motorola phone that was all trendy and "fun" and I barely used any of the features. The Samsun e335 is practical and everything is useful.

Wouldn't recommend it

  • Excerpt: I haven't had it that long but from what I have seen of it it's not what I am looking for anyway. It is a cute little phone but looks do not make it work. There might be somewhere on the phone to change the icons o to list but I never seen it. I prefer the list over Icons. Could barely get a one on the signal meter and when it did jump up to 3-4 bars then it would go into searching for service.

  • Excerpt: CONS: OK this phone is indifferent. It makes me mad that i cant see pictures on my outside display. then when it comes to choosing different ring-tones for each person you cant you have to choose ring-tones for groups of people at a time. the camera isn't too clear it should have flash. It doesnt have video and I was told it did.

Seems Like Samsung Never Took it Outside of the Factory to Test It

firefoxx66, Phone Scoop

  • Excerpt: I got this phone after my Samsung e315 (which I loved dearly) accidentally got washed. I was hoping this phone would live up to all that I had come to expect of Samsung, but it has fallen short several times. My biggest issue is the button on the side of the phone that allows you to take pictures with the phone closed. Yes, this is a great idea to some people, but it should be able to be disabled.

Cool Phone

  • Excerpt: This phone is so cool, it way better than my last phone, with was the Nokia N-Gage QD. I Really Like the option that you can take pictures when the phone is closed by holding down the picture key outside the phone. I also like the size.

Nothing Special

seanpitt330, Phone Scoop

  • Excerpt: I bought this phone because it was the "newest thing" T-Mobile had, and it was around what I was willing to spend. I researched a lot of phones before buying and so I figured I couldn't go wrong. There is nothing really wrong with the phone, but there is nothing special about it either. Aesthetically the phone is good. It has the nice navy colored body with blue backlit keys. I wish the front screen wasn't monochrome, but it's okay.
