Beautiful to look at and hold but I have reservations with compatibility

Summary: I have taken quite a long time before reviewing this camera because I wanted to test various scenarios. Firstly, I love the look of this camera and the feel of it from an ergonomic standpoint. It's like driving a nice car ... where dials and controls are right within reach of most hands. I have a pretty large hands for a woman and the camera feels good and I have not been reaching for any buttons that would cause strain or such.
Summary: I've been using this camcorder for a few months now. I like to have a good history with an electronic before I review it, given that I've prematurely reviewed other items and had to come back and change the entire review. One of the most important criteria for a camcorder is how good it captures video. This does a very good job and is vastly superior to my old school mini-dv's. While the video is great, I find the pictures to be lacking for my taste.
Summary: Excellent video camera. Better in daylight. Enough good in poor light. I experience the best quality if i dont use the zoom. If i forget my memory card, i have the internal ssd. I wolud like to see in the future a camera that i dont have to open something to connect the charger and the rest of the cables, because i feel that the jack cover is going to break someday soon. Pic quality is excellent!!! Software is enough good.
overall a great little camcorder with a few weaknesses

Summary: This camcorder takes good quality video (when the lighting is sufficient, of course, something that is apparently true of all camcorders in and below this price range), is easy to use, and it fits my (extra-large glove sized) hand and palm perfectly. The unique handgrip is very comfortable and it makes it easier to hold the camera relatively steadily at various angles, including with my arm stretched out above my head.

Summary: I generally like Samsung products. I own a Samsung SC-HMX20C 8GB High Definition Camcorder with 10x Optical Zoom that I used last winter for taking video at holiday get togethers. It was passed from hand to hand as people took turns trying it out. Everyone liked the clarity and the ability to take snaps which recording video. I fully expect to see a couple of these camcorders come out at the family reunion this month.
Summary: There are many extensive reviews of this camcorder with lots of details already so I will keep this short. This is an excellent camcorder but there may be equally good options in this price range and cheaper. I gave this camcorder four stars because, while it does provide excellent video, other camcorders such as the JVC 60gb HD camcorder provide the same level of video quality but at a slightly cheaper price.
The Samsung HMX-H104 vs SC-HMX20C....a huge improvement

Summary: In December, I wrote a less than complimentary review of Samsung's SC-HMX20C HD camcorder, so it was with a bit of trepidation that I approached their HMX-H104. I needn't have been concerned. Despite some obvious changes to reduce manufacturing cost, this camcorder is a huge improvement over their older model. Let's compare the two... Both cameras record true HD at 1920x1080 resolution. While the HMX20C had 8Gb of internal memory, the HMX-H104 has 16Gb.
Summary: Every year, Samsung realeases a new consumer-grade camcorder which seems to better the previous years in some small ways. I'm still under the impression that Samsung has this shelf of 2009, 2010, 2011 etc camcorders ready to go NOW, but they insist on releasing them with incremental upgrades every year to keep the consumer wanting more... but I digress. :-) This year we have Samsung's very first SSD camcorder.
